Hint of Spring

WoW!! It's gonna be 60 degrees here today and lots of sunshine! Now, I know there are a lot of activities one could do on a day like this, but I'm thinking time best spent is doing exactly what one deserves. You got it...head on over to JB Knacker and have a look/see. This type of weather gets us thinking about Spring and maybe flowers and pots and tweety birds and birdbaths and cleaning. OK, maybe cleaning can wait 'cause as Iowans we are fairly resigned that Winter will return to Iowa and there is still some hunkering down to be done. But I do have an idea brewing that could possibly revolutionize spring cleaning or at least make it tolerable...stay tuned as it will debut in the shop in a week or so.
At JB, we have moved toward fair weather decorating little by little. We are still in a celebratory mode as Valentine's Day is upon us and our sparkling wine glass give-away w/ our February Faves ephemera tag is still going strong!
We thank all of our loyal customers and those that have read our ads in the DesMoines Register or found us on-line or were referred to us through great word-of-mouth advertising. Business is good for this time of the year, and despite the media and the current administration trying to put fear and dread and "what have you" out there, so many of us are finding a way to make it work. And that's what this country has always been about...hard work. Even when things are tough, and we know that things ARE tough for many, Americans know how to find another path or help each other out or start over w/ something new. So thank you for your continued support of our business and our promise to you is to continue to keep things fresh and exciting and affordable at JB Knacker!
